Successful learners come to class ready to learn with good self management skills. Ensure for each lesson you have the following five pieces of equipment and have them out ready to go when you arrive.Also, make sure your device is always charged!

Welcome
Hello Junior School,
Welcome to the 2018 version of the Newlands College Mathematics Blog. A new addition this year is the inclusion of both Year 9 and Year 10 student blogs.
As you can see below, you have all been divided into maths classes. The plan this year is to watch the blogs grow to help multiply the rate at which your learning happens. With a bit of hard work and dedication in class you will be amazed at what you can take-away from this exciting subject.
Blogs are a space to reflect on learning, share ideas, and present learning to a captive audience.
The Mathematics department looks forward to working closely with both Year 9 and 10 students in 2018.
